On 8 April 2026, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a press release on diplomatic briefing on the enactment of the Cambodian law on combatting online scams.

The ministry hosted a briefing for members of the diplomatic corps and international organizations on Cambodian Law on Combatting Online Scams which came into force on 7 April 2026.
